Juulia Kela is a PhD researcher at the University of Helsinki, working with the CrimScapes: Navigating citizenship through European landscapes of criminalisation project.
Her academic interests are in the connections between law, medicine, and criminality.
In her research, she will focus on the history of infectious diseases, the law, and criminalisation in the Finnish context.
