Leonardo is a postdoctoral researcher in the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology at the University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and has been a visiting researcher at the Centre européen de sociologie et de science politique (CESSP – EHESS/Paris). His current research focuses on the relationships between anthropogenic fire regimes and microbial biodiversity in food production within the Cerrado biome in southeastern Brazil.
