Tuukka Saari is CSSM’s technical assistant, supporting the centre in communications, research activities and administration. Tuukka recently completed his master’s degree in global development studies at the University of Helsinki, focusing on the politics of development and social reproduction. His master’s thesis connects these topics with migration, remittances and global health by exploring life histories of Kenyan migrant women in Finland. Prior to joining CSSM, Tuukka has worked as an assistant for INEQ – Helsinki Inequality Initiative and RESET – Resilient and Just Systems.
